(GSM) – Liverpool’s on loan midfielder Alberto Aquilani has expressed that he feels at home playing for Juventus in his native Italy.
Aquilani, who was a £20 million purchase from Roma last summer, failed to settle at the Merseyside amid injury and form concerns.
Following a change of management, new boss Roy Hodgson farmed out the creative player to Juventus on loan.
And 26-year-old now says that he is very happy to playing for the club.
“I like the team. I like Turin. I have found a home. I am happy,” he told La Stampa.
Asked about his new role at Juventus, he added: “I am more of a central midfielder. Before, I was further forward in the offensive phase. Now I have to have more balance and be careful also in defence.”
Juventus have an option to make the move permanent next summer.
