(GSM) – Juventus’ latest signing Alberto Aquilani has revealed that he is happy to be back in Italy ahead of his medical tomorrow in Turin.
The former Roma midfielder makes a return to Italy on a one-year loan after a forgetful season with Liverpool last year.
After being left out of the Reds squad that entertained Turkish side Trabzonspor at Anfield last week, the 26-year-old agreed the deal to a return to his native land.
“I am so happy to be back in Italy,” said the new Bianconeri signing to Tuttomercatoweb.com.
“Juve are a side that can challenge for the Scudetto. I hope we can do well, along with Milos Krasic.
“I returned for Juventus, but also so that I could recapture my place in the Italy squad.
“I have not yet spoken to Coach Del Neri, but I will do tomorrow. I hope to do well.”
Asked whether he could have made a return to Roma.
“No, there were no other offers from different clubs.”
