Aquilani set to sign new Roma contract

After months of negotiations, it seems that Roma and midfielder Alberto Aquilani will soon renew their vows.

According to reports in this morning’s edition of the Corriere dello Sport, the 24-year-old has reached an agreement with the Giallorossi to extend his stay in the Eternal City until 2013.

The talented Italy international is expected to pocket €2 million per season, which could stretch to up to €2.5m through bonuses.
