Italian midfielder Alberto Aquilani’s agent insists his client will not be leaving Liverpool this summer.
Reports have suggested that Liverpool could be forced to sell the midfielder they bought last summer, due to their financial problems.
Aquilani signed a five-year deal when he joined Liverpool from Italian giants Roma last year.
“I don’t think Liverpool will dismantle the team because they are in an economic crisis,” Franco Zavaglia told Tuttomercatoweb.com.
“Plus, Alberto has a five-year deal there. How can people say that he will be sold.”
Aquilani has been struggling with injuries and poor form in his first season at Anfield.
