Spartak Moscow winger Aras Ozbiliz has revealed that Manchester United are showing interest in his signature.
The 24-year-old has been in fine form since joining the Russian giants from Kuban Krasnodar, and it appears his impressive displays did not go unnoticed.
Ozbiliz went on to reveal that Manchester United watched him in Friday’s match against Krylya Sovetov, but he was visibly disappointed with his display in that game.
“I know they (Manchester United) came to see me playing”, the talented footballer explained to Voetbal Primeur.
“But I don’t think they are interested after this match. I played my worst game for the last few years.”
Aras Ozbiliz began his professional career at Ajax after spending 12 years in club’s youth academy, but he never quite managed to prove his worth at Amsterdam ArenA, making just 26 league appearances and scoring 2 goals.
A move to Kuban Krasnodar kick-started his career, with 11 goals scored in 24 league matches helping him earn a lucrative switch to Spartak Moscow.
Ozbiliz immediately nailed down a regular starting berth and went on to net three times in 22 league outings.
