Archie Gray about to leave Leeds United for Tottenham Hotspur

Leeds United star Archie Gray is on his way to Tottenham Hotspur, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Italian journalist has reported on X that Premier League club Tottenham and Championship side Leeds have reached an agreement in principle over a deal for Gray.

Romano has reported that Leeds, who failed to win promotion from the Championship to the Premier League at the end of last season, will get paid £40 million from Tottenham. Gray, who can operate as a midfielder or as a right-back, has accepted the long-term offer from Spurs.

The reporter wrote on X: Archie Gray to Tottenham, here we go! Agreement in principle between all parties involved, waiting to sign docs.

“Spurs are set to pay fee around £40m, long term deal for Gray who’s accepted to join #THFC.

“Joe Rodon to join #LUFC in separate transaction around £10m.”

Gray made 43 starts and four substitute appearances in the Championship for Leeds last season. He gave two assists in those games.
