Spanish side Almeria, who recently secured promotion to the country’s top division, have found a new coach: Gonzalo Arconada.

Arconada joins the Andalucian side from another team that will be playing in the Primera Division next season, Numancia.

At Almeria, the 46 year old Arconada faces the tough task to replace Unai Emery.

Emery recently left the team to take the reigns at Valencia CF, who hope to recover from a more than disappointing season.

Arconada’s career shows fluctuating results. The manager went through short stints at Real Sociedad and Burgos before finding a spot at Numancia.
