Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Alphonse Areola plans to discuss his future with the club officials in the coming weeks.
The France international has been in fine form since taking over from Kevin Trapp and the Saints plan to tie him down to a new contract.
However, with the German shot-stopper set to leave, PSG aim to recruit a world-class goalkeeper and Areola is worried that such a scenario would eventually cost him a place in the side.
That is why he wants to have clear-the-air talks with the club officials before he makes a decision on his future, and he wants his future sorted before the 2018 World Cup.
Areola was given a chance to shine at Parc des Princes after impressing during loan spells with Lens, Bastia and Villarreal, and he went on to amass 43 league appearances for the club.
