Scott Arfield joined Glasgow Rangers last summer from Burnley, and he insists he is happy there amid reports of interest from Crystal Palace.
The 30-year-old Canada international (and captain) says he is fully settled at Ibrox, making it perfectly clear he’s not interested in a move to Selhurst Park; or anywhere else for that matter. His family is also settled in Glasgow, and he is fully focused on putting in good performances for Steven Gerrard’s team.
He pointed out that he wasn’t playing nearly as much as he wanted to at Burnley, always being in and out of the team, and he doesn’t seem willing to risk getting in that kind of situation again. He has found his feet at Rangers, and now he is happiest he’s been “in years”.
Before his five-year stint at Burnley, the midfielder had a three-year spell apiece with Falkirk and Huddersfield Town, and he has scored a single goal in 13 appearances for Canada so far.
