CA Tigre and Boca Juniors have been given a new chance to move into first place in the Argentinian Primera Division as San Lorenzo crashed to a 1-3 defeat by Lanús.

Lagos put Lanús in the lead after twelve minutes but leaders San Lorenzo equalised through Bergessio in the 26th.

Sand then restored the away side’s advantage on 32 minutes and Salvio made it 1-3 shortly before the break.

Boca Juniors get the first chance to surpass San Lorenzo, as they travel to face San Martín on Sunday. Not much later, second-placed Tigre meet with Copa Sudamericana finalists Estudiantes.
