(GSM) – Argentina scored two goals in each half to beat a much weaker Haiti side 4-0 in preparation for next month’s World Cup.
Diego Armando Maradona was forced to mostly field players that are unlikely to go to South Africa as the majority of his usual picks are still active in European leagues.
With goals from Facundo Bertoglio and Martin Palermo, Argentina soon took distance from Haiti in the first half.
In the second, Sebastian Blanco made it 3-0 and Bertoglio got another for a 4-0 final score.
Argentina begin their World Cup campaign against Nigeria on June 12.
