River Plate youngster Erik Lamela admits he is flattered by interest from big European clubs.
Milan and Atletico Madrid are reportedly very keen on the highly rated youngster, with the two clubs likely to start a real bidding war in the summer.
“It is nice to be wanted, I am proud. It is a good thing that a big European club like Atletico are after me, but I am not losing my cool,” Lamela told AS.
“I want to win the title with River, I dream about it, I still don’t want to leave, I want to have continuity, games. Then, we’ll see.
”The important thing is that I have to be calm and with my head at River.”
Atletico are reportedly close to matching the player’s release clause that stands at €20 million, but los Colchoneros could face a stiff competition from Milan for the 18-year-old.
