(GSM) – Argentinos Juniors moved into second place – just a point off the lead – in the Clausura on Sunday with a comfortable 3-1 win over Gimnasia La Plata.

Nestor Ortigoza’s penalty put the home side in frotn in the 26th minute, but the match was level on 67 minutes when Gimnasia’s Lucas Castro scored just moments after coming on as a sub.

The parity, however, lasted just only two minutes as Ismael Sosa tucked one past Gimnasia goalkeeper Pablo Bangardino.

Santiago Raymonda sealed off the victory for Argentinos Juniors in the 86th minute.

They are now just a point behind leaders Estudiantes with three matches left to go.
