(GSM) – Aris are through to the final of the Greek Cup following a 1-1 draw with Kavala in the second leg of the semi finals. Aris won the first leg 3-1.

All pressure was on Kavala to dominate the match as the hosts needed at least two goals to survive.

But when Koke put Aris in the lead shortly before the break, fans at Kavalas Anthi Karagianni stadium began to lose hope. Even an equaliser from Serge Die in the 57th minute was not enough to threaten Aris’ aggregate lead.

In the final, Aris face the winner of the other semi final tie between PAS Giannina and Panathinaikos, who play their second leg on March 31. The first ended in a 3-1 win to Panathinaikos.
