(GSM) – Aris are close to a spot in the final of the Greek Cup following a 3-1 win over Kavala in Wednesday’s first leg.
Hosts Aris took the lead through a converted penalty from Koke in the 26th minute, but Benjamin Onwuachi equalised just before the break.
But Spanish striker Koke went on to restore Aris’ lead in the 68th minute, and Javito made it 3-1 six minutes before the end.
The second leg will be played on Thursday, March 25.
The winner of this tie will face either PAS Giannina or favorites Panathinaikos in the final. Those two teams play their first leg on March 24.
