Competition: EFL Cup
Market: Arsenal to win against Reading
Odds: 2/9 @ Bet 365

Arsenal host Reading at the Emirates Stadium in the last-16 of the EFL Cup tonight, and are big favourites to come out on top to reach the quarter-finals of the competition given their impressive form in recent weeks.

Hosts Arsenal are in great shape ahead of tonight’s meeting with the Royals, having won seven of their last eight games in all competitions. The Gunners thrashed Nottingham Forest 4-0 in the EFL Cup third round to make it this far, and should have no problems at home to a Reading side inconsistent on the road.

Visitors Reading have failed to win four of their last five games in the Championship ahead of this evening’s trip to the Emirates Stadium, and face a task beating a side who haven’t lost a game in any competition since August. Reading don’t have a good head-to-head record against Arsenal either, having lost all nine of their games post-millennium.

As a result, Arsenal should win at the Emirates Stadium tonight to progress to the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup, and Bet 365 are giving odds of 2/9 for the Gunners to deliver against Reading.
