Arsenal 4/6 to beat West Ham in Wednesday’s Premier League encounter

Competition: Premier League

Market: Arsenal to beat West Ham

Odds: 4/6 @ Bet365

The Premier League is back with a bang as the festive period continues to gather pace. The weekend saw all manner of incredibly exciting and important games, and the next cluster of matches will bring the same as every side is desperate to pick up as many points over December as possible. With this in mind, Arsenal travel to face West Ham on Wednesday.

West Ham have been struggling massively this season and they are in need of a run of games in which they pick up points and positive results. In their last five they have picked up four points, with their last game ending in a shock win over Chelsea, with David Moyes securing his first triumph as boss of the Hammers. The victory has seen the troubled side move onto 13 points, level with West Brom, who occupy the last safe spot in the league. Another victory would likely send them flying up the league table, but they cannot always count on beating teams like Chelsea, with the Blues definitely not at their best on Saturday.

Arsenal are in need of a win to regain some of the momentum they have lost in recent weeks.  In their last five games they have three wins, one loss, and one draw, which has seen the London side fall into fifth-place with 29 points, 17 short of Manchester City at the top. With their title challenge all but over, Arsene Wenger will be desperate to secure a Champions League spot, but the top four is proving to be an incredibly competitive area this season. With all of this in mind, we are backing Arsenal with odds of 4/6 from Bet365.
