Arsenal and Aston Villa are among the clubs interested in signing Odsonne Edouard from Celtic in the summer of 2021, according to The Scottish Daily Mail (back page, February 28, 2021). It has been reported that Leicester City and AS Roma are also interested in the Frenchman, and it is them who are leading the race.
Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers worked with Edouard when he was in charge of Celtic and will know how to get the best out of the Frenchman. The former Premier League champions will also be able to afford the £20 million transfer fee that the defending Scottish champions are reportedly looking for him.
According to WhoScored, Edouard has made 21 starts and three substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Celtic so far this season, scoring 16 goals and providing two assists in the process. The 23-year-old also scored two goals in in four Europa League games for the Hoops this campaign, according to WhoScored.
