Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool are locked in the battle for Atletico Madrid star Arda Turan, according to Milliyet.
Even with the player signing a new deal at Vicente Calderon last month, the English clubs remain keen on his services.
Milliyet has suggested that both Arsenal and Liverpool are planning a January assault on the Turkey international.
Turan’s agent revealed last month that his client would be interested in a switch to England, which means he will seriously consider any offer that arrives from the Premier League.
