The Express understands that Liverpool and Arsenal are both keeping an eye on James Milner’s situation at Manchester City as his contract issues appear to be no closer to being resolved.
The England international’s current deal with the Premier League champions is set to expire at the end of the season, and both Brendan Rodgers and Arsene Wenger have been linked with moves for the 29 year old.
The despite being praised in many quarters for his performances for Manuel Pellegrini’s side so far this year, Milner is still not guaranteed a place in the Chilean’s starting XI and is considering his options ahead of next season.
