Both Arsenal and Liverpool are ready to smash their transfer records to secure the services of Edinson Cavani, according to the Daily Star.
The Paris Saint Germain forward, who has also been a long term target of Manchester United looks set to be on his way out of the Parc des Princes, with all three Premier League times likely to make a move when the transfer window reopens in January with a fee of £50m should be enough to persuade the Parisians to do business.
Since moving to Ligue One from Napoli in the summer of 2013, the 27 year old has made sixty-two appearances in all competitions, scoring thirty-six goals.
His scoring record in Serie A was even more impressive, with the forward netting one hundred and four in just one hundred and thirty-eight games while internationally he has been capped sixty-nine times for Uruguay and scored twenty-four goals.
