Arsenal and Liverpool linked to Hinteregger

talkSPORT has suggested that Arsenal and Liverpool are among clubs showing interest in Red Bull Salzburg defender Martin Hinteregger.

The two clubs have been alerted of the player’s potential and they are closely monitoring his performances with a view of luring him to England.

Martin Hinteregger has already established himself as a first team regular at Salzburg, making a total of 76 league appearances for the club.

The left-footed footballer is a member of Austria Under-21 side and he is reportedly also on the radar of Juventus.

Hinteregger recently made the headlines when he scored a magnificent goal from his own half in a friendly match against Schalke after he had outsmarted two opposition attackers.

The 21-year-old has been putting in some excellent performances for Salzburg this season and everything suggests that the talented footballer could soon be leaving his current employers in favour of a switch to one of Europe’s top clubs.
