Arsenal and Liverpool vying for Lacazette

Le 10 Sport understands that Premier League title rivals Arsenal and Liverpool are locked in the battle for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette.

While it is no secret that the Gunners are in the market for a new centre forward, the Reds are also expected to recruit a high-profile striker when they cash in on Christian Benteke.

And the latest reports suggest that both clubs have Lyon hotshot Alexandre Lacazette high on their hit-list.

Even though Lyon chairman recently claimed that his star player would not be sold this summer, it is believed that les Gones would not be able to resist a big money offer for the player’s services.

Lacazette has also been the subject of a bid from West Ham United, so if he does move, English Premier League will be his most likely destination.

The 25-year-old has been one of Ligue 1’s most prolific players for three years now, bagging a total of 63 goals in last three league campaigns.
