Manchester United and Arsenal are set to battle to secure the services on Barcelona midfielder Javier Mascherano, according to the Express.
The Argentina international has two years remaining on his current contract with the Catalan club but he has been linked with a move away this summer.
Italian giants Inter Milan and Juventus are also keeping tabs on the former Liverpool man, who moved to to Nou Camp from Anfield in the summer of 2010.
During his time in Spain, he has racked up two hundred and eighty-two appearances in all competitions but is yet to score.
He has helped them to four league titles, three Spanish cups and two Champions League titles while internationally he has been capped one hundred and twenty-three times for his country, with one of those appearances coming in the 2014 World Cup final in Brazil, where Argentina lost to Germany in extra-time.
