Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Heorhiy Sudakov from Shakhtar Donetsk, according to TuttoJuve. The report has claimed that Sudakov could replace the injured Martin Odegaard, while for Tottenham, he could be an alternative to James Maddison.
Sudakov has been on the books of Shakhtar since 2017 and has established himself in the Ukrainian club’s first team after coming through the ranks. The 22-year-old midfielder has also played 23 times for Ukraine, scoring three goals in the process. He has scored seven goals and given two assists in eight Ukrainian Premier League matches and has played twice in the UEFA Champions League so far this season.
Arsenal are third in the Premier League table at the moment with 17 points from seven matches, a point behind leaders Liverpool. Meanwhile, Tottenham currently find themselves ninth in the league table with 10 points from seven games, four points behind fourth-placed and London rivals Chelsea.
