Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing Crystal Palace star Tyrick Mitchell, according to CaughtOffSide. The report has claimed that London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham have held talks with Mitchell and are considering a move for the left-back in the January transfer window.
Mitchell, who can also operate as a left wing-back, is out of contract at Palace at the end of the season. The Eagles, who have been linked with winger Ryan Kent, are trying to convince the 25-year-old to sign a new deal, but the left-back is not inclined to do so. Atletico Madrid, AC Milan and Barcelona are also keen on a deal for the English defender.
The 25-year-old has been on the books of Palace since 2016. Mitchell came through the Eagles’s youth system and has now established himself as one of the first names on the London club’s first team. The left-back has made 151 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. Mitchell has scored three goals, given 11 assists and kept 34 clean sheets in those games.
