Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur tracking Orbelin Pineda

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are among the clubs interested in signing Orbelin Pineda from Cruz Azul in the January transfer window, according to 90min. Wolverhampton Wanderers, Everton, Southampton, Newcastle United and West Ham United are also reported to be monitoring the 24-year-old winger.

Ajax, PSV Eindhoven, FC Porto and AS Monaco have scouted the Mexico international winger in recent months, according to the report, which has added that the 24-year-old is open to a move to Europe. The winger turned down a chance to move to Manchester City in 2016 before leaving Guadalajara for Cruz Azul for a transfer fee over £10 million.

Pineda is a very hard-working and versatile winger who has done well at Cruz Azul and is ready to take the next step in his career. The 24-year-old is also a regular in the Mexico international team. It remains to be see if any of the Premier League clubs make a bid for the winger.
