Having been prematurely eliminated from the Champions League and on course to finish the season without the La Liga title, Barcelona are expected to go through a major summer overhaul which will include more than just getting a new head coach.
Blaugrana will revamp their first-team squad and a couple of fringe players are widely expected to be cut loose.
One of the names definitely is Arda Turan, the former Atletico Madrid star who failed to live up to the expectations at Camp Nou. The 30-year-old made only 13 La Liga appearances for Barcelona this season during which time he scored three goals and managed as many assists.
With his playing time at Barcelona significantly limited Arda Turan is believed to be exploring his options and a possible move to Arsenal is back on the cards for the Turkish international.
Gunners have long been linked with Arda and the North London club is believed to be prepared to make a formal approach for the Barcelona man.
A bid of £25 million has been quoted by CNN Turk, with the media outlet adding that Barcelona will accept the offer.
