Arsenal approach Stuttgart talent Berkay Ozcan

Premier League side Arsenal are said to have made an approach to sign the highly-rated Stuttgart talent Berkay Ozcan.

The 19-year-old Turkey Under-21 international is one of the most talented players to emerge from the Bundesliga side’s football academy and has attracted plenty of interest from around Europe with Besiktas also believed to be keeping tabs on the attacking midfielder.

Arsenal have been dollowing the Turkish talent for two years no and are believed to be firm favourites to land the Stuttgart starlet. In an interview with beIN Turkey, Ozcan revealed that Arsenal have already approached him hoping to secure a deal and push away interest from other suitors.

“My agent and I are in talks with Arsenal”, the talented midfielder said.

Arsenal appear to be the club of Ozcan’s choice as the player also added he would love to join Gunners in the future.

Ozcan however feels a move to the Premier League is not currently on the cards as he wants to make further progress at the Bundesliga side before hitting the bigger stage.
