Arsenal back in for Sterling

The Mail Online understand that Arsenal will revive their interest in signing Manchester City midfielder Raheem Sterling in January.

The Gunners had been linked with a move for the former Liverpool man in the summer amid talk of Alexis Sanchez heading in the opposite direction and a swap deal could be on the cards when the transfer window reopens.

It remains to be seen whether or not Pep Guardiola would be willing to part company with Sterling, who has enjoyed a stunning start to the season, scoring ten goals in all competitions including seven in the Premier League – a tally only bettered by teammate Sergio Aguero and Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane.

In total the twenty-two year old has racked up one hundred and nine appearances since swapping Anfield for the Etihad Stadium, scoring thirty-one goals while he was part of the squad that won the League Cup in 2016.
