Arsenal defender Takehiro Tomiyasu made a mistake which lead to Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne breaking the deadlock in the 24th minute of the clash between the two teams at the Emirates on Wednesday. City ended up winning the game by 1-3 and it enabled them to overtake the Gunners at the top of the table.
Nonetheless, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta says he and his players, as well as the staff and everyone else at the club, have huge faith in the Japan international.
🗣️ “I think if we had a bet with all the players and staff at Colney (training ground) and say someone has to do a clearance for us to win the league, we have to pick one player. We all pick Tomiyasu.”
