Ethan Nwaneri made his senior Arsenal debut against Brentford back in 2022, at the age of just 15, and on Wednesday, the first day of 2025, he was named to start a Premier League game for the first time, against the same opponent.
But manager Mikel Arteta insists his decision to put the 17-year-old in the starting XI was based on more than just symbolism.
