Premier League giants Arsenal and Chelsea are among clubs showing interest in PSV Eindhoven starlet Zakaria Bakkali, according to Tuttosport.
The 18-year-old enjoyed a great debut season at Phillips Stadium last term, catching the eye of Europe’s top clubs in the process.
However, having refused to sign an extension to his contract that is due to expire at the end of the current campaign, Bakkali was dropped from the first team squad and is currently playing for the youth side.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Juventus appear to be vying for his signature and they will almost certainly make a move in January, with PSV expected to sell to the highest bidder.
After impressing in Dutch Eredivisie, Bakkali was handed his Belgium debut in a 2014 World Cup qualifier against Wales.
He is now certain to leave PSV Eindhoven for greener pastures, and it only remains to be seen whether he will quit in January or next summer.
