London Evening Standard reports that Arsenal hope to sign both Thierry Henry and Klaas Jan Huntelaar in January.
The dismal start to the Premier League campaign has left Arsene Wenger desperate for attacking reinforcements, and the Frenchman likely to act in the winter transfer window.
While Thierry Henry looks set to join the club on another short-term loan spell, the Gunners appear to be closing in on Klaas Jan Huntelaar as well.
The Dutch forward has been followed by the Premier League club for quite a while and with his contract running out, this could be a perfect opportunity for Arsenal to sign him on a cut-back fee.
With a proven goalscoring record in all of top European leagues, the Netherlands international would certainly be a welcoming addition to the squad at the Emirates.
During his entire professional career, Huntelaar has scored 195 goals in 300 league appearances.
