Arsenal confirm Rice signing
Arsenal have finally confirmed that they’ve completed the signing of Declan Rice from West Ham.

Some reports have suggested that the fee the Gunners will be paying for the services of the England international could rise up to £128 million, but others are saying it’s still the amount originally agreed between the clubs, £100m plus £5m in add-ons.
The completion of the transfer took longer than expected and it had a number of Arsenal supporters worried about a potential abandonment at the 11th hour as reports claimed the Hammers were getting impatient to get it done in order for them to pursue a replacement, but now, it’s been done.
Declan Rice becomes Arsenal’s third signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber.
Fabinho left out of pre-season camp trip as Liverpool exit looms
Liverpool have reportedly received the expected £40 million offer from Al-Ittihad for Fabinho, and as a result, the Brazilian midfielder has been left out of the squad for their trip to the pre-season training camp in Germany. Captain Jordan Henderson, reported to have agreed terms with Steven Gerrard’s Al-Etifaq, on the other hand, did make the trip as the clubs remain locked in negotiations over a transfer fee.
The Merseysiders certainly didn’t plan for Fabinho to leave before the window started, given that he’s been an important part of their team and that there’s three years left on the contract of the 29-year-old. However, things have obviously changed, and after the acquisitions of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai, they are strongly expected to push for further signings in the middle of the park.
Potential targets reportedly include Bayern Munich’s Ryan Gravenberch, Manchester City’s Kalvin Phillips, Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat, as well as Romeo Lavia of Southampton. Brighton’s Moises Caicedo is not on that list, due to the Seagulls demanding £100m for the Ecuador international.
Inter pull out of Lukaku talks
Inter Milan have reportedly left the talks they were involved in with Chelsea over the potential permanent signing of Romelu Lukaku.
It seems that Chelsea’s talks with Juventus have angered the Champions League runners-up to such an extent that their interest in the Belgian striker has ceased to exist.
The options of the 30-year-old’s future are, at this point, Juventus, or a club in Saudi Arabia.
Arsenal to join Lavia race?
After the completion of the Declan Rice transfer, Arsenal plan to add another midfielder to their ranks should Thomas Partey leave North London, and according to Ben Jacobs, they could decide to enter the race for Southampton’s Romeo Lavia.
The 19-year-old is admired much by Liverpool and Chelsea, but neither of these potential suitors values the player at £50 million, which is apparently is the amount the Saints would be willing to accept.
Arsenal could enter the race for Romeo Lavia if Thomas Partey leaves. As previously reported, nothing in the Aurelien Tchouameni links.
Lavia remains a real possibility for #LFC and is admired by Chelsea.
But suitors value Lavia at far less than £50m.😇 pic.twitter.com/fvj0ejdg2J
