According to a recent report from Sky Sports News, Arsenal are continuing talks with Real Madrid over the possibility of them keeping Dani Ceballos on the books for next season.
Manager Mikel Arteta wants to see Ceballos stay, but it would almost certainly have to be on another loan deal as Arsenal probably wouldn’t be able to financially afford to sign him on a permanent basis.
Ceballos has been tipped to start pre-season with Real Madrid, but if the Gunners come up with the right sort of arrangement, he could be pulling on an Arsenal shirt in time for the start of the new Premier League campaign.
While Ceballos has had his fair share of off days during his time at the Emirates, he was able to string together a handful of really impressive performances to end last season.
As such, many are excited to see what could come next.
