Arsenal defender Rob Holding is in talks with Besiktas over a loan move, according to The Express. The report has claimed that the Gunners are willing to let the 27-year-old English defender leave, and that Besiktas are the favourites to sign him in the summer transfer window.
Holding could join Besiktas on a season-long loan deal after signing a contract extension with Arsenal. The Gunners could also decide to simply sell him now. All options are being explored.
The 27-year-old is merely a squad player at Arsenal at the moment and is unlikely to get much playing time next season. Holding made six starts and eight substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Gunners last season, scoring one goal in the process.
