According to France Football, Arsenal are very willing to secure a cut-price deal in order to bring Steven Nzonzi back over to the Premier League. The 29-year-old midfielder has been away from the division for a few years now, enjoying a successful tenure with Sevilla in La Liga. Now, however, it seems as if the Gunners are willing to do whatever they can to lower his €40 million price-tag in an attempt to lure him back to English football.
Nzonzi has experience playing under Unai Emery from their days at Sevilla, making it quite clear that there’s a distinct purpose behind this transfer. The Gunners have already done a lot of work in the summer window when it comes to the midfield positions, but many fans believe that there’s still plenty to be done if they want to be challenging for the Premier League title in the next few years.
Nzonzi recently returned from the World Cup where he secured a winners medal with champions France.
