According to Il Bianconero, Arsenal are determined to sign Manuel Locatelli from Sassuolo in the summer transfer window. The Gunners have made an offer for the Italy international midfielder and are keen on getting a deal done.
However, Arsenal are not the only club who are interested in securing the services of the 23-year-old. Il Bianconero claims that former Italian champions Juventus are keen on the youngster as well. In fact, Juventus are planning to hold talks with Sassuolo over a deal for the former AC Milan midfielder in the coming days.
La Gazzetta Dello Sport has reported that Locatelli wants to join Juventus and has been ignoring interest from Arsenal. The 23-year-old scored four goals and gave two assists in 34 Serie A appearances for Sassuolo last season. During the 2019-20 campaign, the youngster gave five assists in 33 league matches.
