Arsenal, Everton & West Ham want Nunez

According to a recent report from AS, Arsenal, West Ham United and Everton are all interested in trying to sign Athletic Bilbao defender Unai Nunez.

All three of the aforementioned clubs could use some defensive reinforcements this summer, and given the fact that we could see the five substitutes rule stay in place until the end of the 2020/21 campaign, strength in depth needs to be the focus for most clubs in the Premier League.

Given their name value you’d have to imagine the Gunners would be the favourites out of the three clubs we’ve mentioned, but the value of having Carlo Ancelotti as manager at Goodison Park simply cannot be understated.

As we look ahead to the next few months and the end of the season, it’s clear to see that Nunez is going to have some very important decisions to make – and not a whole lot of time in which to make them.
