Arsenal expect Aubameyang bid from Barcelona

According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Arsenal are expecting Barcelona to make a bid for forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang before the end of the January transfer window. 

With the window being set to close in just a matter of days Barca would definitely need to speed things up if they’re serious about bringing the popular forward over to the Nou Camp. Arsenal will be well aware of how much bigger Barca are right now in terms of stature, but if everything is to be believed, Aubameyang is amongst a host of players who are happy with the direction they’re heading in under the guidance of manager Mikel Arteta. 

Arteta did appear to indicate that the club was still in the market when he was speaking at their post-game press conference, but there still has yet to be all too much information released about the specific details of this supposed move.
