Arsenal want to sign Dominic Calvert-Lewin from Everton in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. The report has claimed that the Premier League club want to sign a forward at the end of the season, and have identified the 26-year-old England international striker as a potential target.
While Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is happy with forwards Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah, he has told the Gunners’ board that he wants another option that has completely different attributes and wants them to bring in Calvert-Lewin if they are unable to get Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus.
Calvert-Lewin has made nine starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Everton so far this season, scoring one goal in the process. The English striker made 15 starts and two substitute appearances in the league for the Toffees last season, scoring five goals and giving two assists in the process.
