Arsenal eye Jorrel Hato

Arsenal are interested in signing Jorrel Hato from Ajax, according to Fichajes. Hato can operate as a central defender or as a left-back, and his emergence has attracted the attention of Arsenal.

Hato has been on the books of Ajax. After coming through the Dutch club’s youth academy, he has established himself in the first team. The 18-year-old has scored one goal and given two assists in five Eredivisie games and has played twice in the UEFA Europa League so far this campaign. The teenager scored one goal and gave two assists in 33 Eredivisie matches and played six times in the UEFA Europa League last season.

Arsenal are third in the Premier League table at the moment with 17 points from seven matches, a point behind leaders Liverpool. Meanwhile, Ajax currently find themselves fifth in the Eredivisie table with 13 points from six matches, six points behind second-placed Utretch and 11 points behind leaders PSV.
