Arsenal are keen on signing Chelsea youngster Dominic Solanke, according to the Mirror.
The eighteen year old, who is yet to make a Premier League outing fir the Blues, is holding out for first team assurances at Stamford Bridge and a £50k per week contract.
The Gunners are now ready to intervene with an offer of their own as they look to strengthen ahead of next season.
Solanke’s one and only appearance for Chelsea so far came as a substitute in a 6-0 Champions League win over Maribor last season, while he has spent this campaign on loan at Dutch Eredivise side Vitesse Arnhem.
Internationally, the forward has represented England at every level from U16 to U21, winning the first of three caps for the latter last year.
