Premier League high flyers Arsenal are reportedly considering a bid for FC Porto midfielder Danilo Pereira, O Jogo has suggested.
The Gunners have been pretty impressive of late, but Arsene Wenger has hinted he may be forced to recruit a holding midfielder due to injuries to Santi Cazorla and Francis Coquelin.
And O Jogo claims that Danilo Pereira is high on his hit-list, with the Frenchman having been impressed by the player’s performances this season.
The 24-year-old has been in scintillating form ever since he joined from Maritimo in the summer, making 14 league appearances and scoring 2 goals.
What is more, Danilo appears to have nailed down a regular starting berth in the Portugal national team as well, starting the final three Euro 2016 qualifiers.
It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will step up their interest in the January window, although it would take a mega money offer for Porto to part ways with their prized asset mere six months after he arrived at Estadio do Dragao.
