Arsenal are keeping close tabs on Fulham striker Patrick Roberts, The Telegraph has revealed.
The 17-year-old has already made his first team debut for the Cottagers and is widely regarded as one of country’s hottest prospects.
According to The Telegraph, Arsenal are showing interest in his services and plan to lure him to the Emirates at the earliest opportunity.
The youngster recently signed his first ever professional contract that runs until June 2016, but the Gunners are not giving up on the player’s signature.
Roberts has impressed Arsenal scouts this season, while Manchester United are also believed to be showing interest.
The forward is the member of England Under-17 side and has so far scored 3 goals in as many appearances for the Three Lions.
Meanwhile, his employers Fulham face an uphill task of trying to avoid the drop seeing as how they are five points adrift of safety, and the Cottagers are 9/2 to stay up.
