Premier League giants Arsenal are hot on the trail of Fulham striker Kostas Mitroglou, Record can reveal.
The Gunners are not exactly spoilt for options in the final third and Arsene Wenger appears to be finally looking to add a high-profile centre forward to his ranks.
According to Record, the Frenchman has been impressed with Kostas Mitroglou and his performances for Benfica this season.
As a result, Arsenal are expected to make a move on the Fulham forward ahead of the summer transfer window, although chances are they will have to negotiate with the Eagles instead.
Namely, Benfica have the option to turn Mitroglou’s loan deal into permanent move for €7 million, and they are certain to trigger the clause given the player’s impressive performances this term.
The Greece international established a very good attacking partnership with Jonas at Estadio da Luz, and went on to score 18 goals in 28 league outings.
