Arsenal are ready to make a move for Sevilla midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak, according to the Daily Star.
The 24 year old moved to the La Liga side from Ligue One Reims in the summer, and has so far impressed racking up sixteen appearances in all competitions.
Arsene Wenger is on the lookout for a new midfield general, and the addition of Krchowiak would provide competition for captain Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini.
The Gunners boss has admitted that he could have done with signing at least one more player during the close season, with the club also drastically short in defensive numbers.
The North London side’s defeat to Swansea City last time out left them a massive twelve points behind league leaders Chelsea with just eleven games played.
They are however just a single point behind fourth place West Ham United and can be backed at 1/2 to once again finish in the Champions League qualification places.
