Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport has learned that Arsenal are considering a summer move for Juventus star Leonardo Bonucci.
The Italy international has developed into one of Europe’s top centre-backs during his time in Turin and there is a possibility he could be leaving the Bianconeri this summer.
And while Monaco and Borussia Dortmund remain keen on his services, Tuttosport understands that Arsenal have joined the race as well.
The same source has suggested that Arsene Wenger has been impressed with the ball-playing centre-back and he will attempt to lure him to the Emirates.
Leonardo Bonucci, 27, is perfectly happy at Juventus and he hopes to enjoy some European success with the Bianconeri as well, but there is a chance he could be sacrificed by the club as they need money for new signings.
The highly rated stopper should be in the starting line-up when Italy face England on 15 June, with the Azzurri 6/4 favourites to claim maximum points.
