Arsenal eyeing Rugani move

Arsenal are considering a move for Juventus defender Daniele Rugani, according to Talksport.

The player’s agent Davide Torchia has confirmed the Gunners’ interest in his client but has said that no approach was made during the winter transfer window.

The North London side brought in Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in January but are keen to strengthen their back line in the summer with Rugani expected to be moved for.

The twenty-three year old moved to Juve from Empoli in the summer of 2015 and has since racked up fifty-six appearances in all competitions, scoring four goals winning both the Serie A title and Coppa Italia in both of his full seasons with the club so far.

Internationally he has been capped just four times for his country with his last appearance for them coming in a 1-1 draw with FYR Macedonia in a World Cup qualifying match back in October.
